Internships have become ridiculous. When I was an intern, not only was I working for FREE, I felt as though I was paying THEM to be there! I was giving up time, energy and money to be there -- the time I spent there could've been time working -- I had to actually quit what would have been a well-paying job, just so I could intern everyday from 10-6. All the while, I would stress out about finances and work as much as I could on the weekends.

Meahwhile, this NYT article talks about new agencies that have come up, offering guaranteed internships to kids who have parents who actually are willing to straight up pay for their kid's internship.

Who knew you had to be rich to work for free?
